Response to American Dream

Even now people are still being criticized for being gay or lesbian, yet not how it was before the 21st century. We make jokes about those who prefer the same gender and we never resort to use physical bullying to them. Yet the people who hold some spite for them are still there and continue to pass a little of their ideals to their kids. While we have people accepting the fact that a person is gay or lesbian. How long will take for the general populaces to fully accept those who prefer the same gender.
While it seems like we are accepting those with the taste for the fellow man or women, it would take a long time for the bias thinking to stop. People think that they don't hold any malice thoughts to the gay while in fact it is still in graved in our way of thinking. People make jokes about them all the time thinking it doesn't do harm, but in fact it is fear that causes them to make them. That fear will hold bits of hate and will stick on to the people with the media making jokes of it as well.

Femininity and Masculine

While the roles of gender have been given for hundreds of years a lot of them are being broken by women today. Women used to be about trying to please the man while caring for the child of the family. While the mans job is to work and do the manual labor for the family. So will the roles of gender be the same for the next 50 years to come? To me the answer to that would have to be a no.
While yes women still fill in the role today and have the old mentality. Many today are already doing things that are out of the women expectations. Men as well where the men take care of the children while the women are out working to feed the family. Women are fighting as soldiers in the army along side men. It won't take long before the gender roles that we knew for many years change.

Will we still act to our own groups in the future?

What I have read is that many of us now prefer to stay to our own groups than with opposing different ones. This has to do our own psychological thinking that has been there before the modern age today. Yet, today people are slowly breaking from that way of thinking and can be found in schools now. School now don't have the usual groups being separated and making sides against each other, so will this way of thinking continue in the future?
Sadly the answer to that would be yes. While it isn't that sever, it is still strong in our minds that what is different will stay different. We humans would like to keep to our selves than with something that is different from their comforting group they familiarize them selves with. So while it is weaken today the future will still hold this prejudge with them in the end. Its a matter of lessening it to a agree that isn't harmful.

Do people think about having a different ID. Some usually are complacent about them selves and continue their life. People have go with the flow mind set and don't have a problem. People have some curiosity of what it would like ti be different. So the question is " Do we want to be different?"
The answer to that would be a definite yes since people in our current society go out and find ways to experience a different identity. Video games is a big evidence regrading that we as humans want to try and be someone else with a new identity. World of war craft is a game with races to choose from many conventions would have people dress up as their character. Avatar the movie is a big example as well as Jake Sully being the character who strives toward the change.

What I can tell of the movie Avatar.

While the question of the white man being the messiah is implemented here in the movie Avatar. There are some differences that could be seen here. One is that he has a completely different body. While he is originally a human and not a native. He still has the complete mind set of the role as the messiah. So does Jake Sully still count as the white messiah to the Na'vi?
That would be a yes, since the actions of this character follows the actions of past characters who taken the role as the messiah. While he is just suppose to fill the role to get the natives to trust him, he ends up being one of them. He even goes against his own side with the Na'vi after loving everything he has been shown and taught. His nativity is the same but learns and becomes a type of savior afterwards.

Class and Virtue

Does this type of stereotype movie theme always happen. The are movies that seem to have a different set up for the lower class and for the higher class. Some instance the bad guys are usually the rich, while the lower class people are the good. Through there is still the case of how they dress. Does it really follow this movie stereotype about class and virtue?

The are also many cases where the movie has the good guy being the lower class going against the upper class. The movie Leon: The Professional has the main protagonist as a man living in a worn down apartment in little Italy in New York. He fights against corrupt DEA officer who is dresses nice and has money. Even though the DEA officer is high class, he still has the traits of a bad guy in the lower class like drug addiction.

Is the role Magical Negro still here?

Is the offensive role still used in movies were played in these last three years? Around recently movies should already stop using that role if it is offensive in the first place. Directors might have realized by now that it isn't really a role that is should be used now. Or do they still use the role today.

The answer to that is yes. In the Captain America film the Winter Soldier, the capt is seen talking to a black male on his usual morning runs. The black male hasn't been seen throughout most of the film and is shown when the climax is near. The character has the characteristics of the "Magical Negro," who gives some advice to the capt and helps him the final battle.

Why do people prefer outlaw hero's?

Why do people prefer the outlaw hero than the official hero in movies. The outlaw hero's are one that always do things freely without the worry of law restricting their actions. They have the problem of loneliness during the movie when usually they try to drive off the women. Usually men would love to have a women with them if they are living in excitement of freedom from the system. Official hero's have comfort and safety, so why doesn't people prefer that?

The reason is that people are constantly living within the system outside the big screen and usually want to leave that behind. So when a person sees a outlaw hero on the screen the have excitement from imagining what kind of life it would be like from someone like themselves. Even if the hero starves off women, a lot of men usually want to escape from their wives who are sometimes the reason for their lust to be rid of the system they are living in. Cause to them living in the system can feel repetitive and boring and lead people looking out for a way out.

The Hollywood Sign: American Film

Do movies really have a repetition on the content they show and the content that is shown has gotten more violent over the years. From what I read is that many films had barely any indication of realism to injury. Like times when you see someone shot at point blank and just see a red dot on their head. Blood though isn't really shown much and doesn't seem real. So in this day and age, does movies have that increase violence?

The answer to that is yes. Movies like the "Expendables" series which had huge amounts of combat that lead to bodies flaying all over the place and injury leaving a big messy mark. People over the years are looking for more realism in the films they watch and won't accept a bullet wound to just leave some small red mark on their chest or head. People are curios about what the actual violence looks like and won't mind seeing some character that is being mentally and physically tormented to death.

What will happen if you have no opinion at all about current popular culture. I really don't care whats in trend nor whats the hottest thing out. Usually I like to live my life by just going with what I want. Sure I follow the opinion of some to help figure what I want. But, I usually just pick out what interest me in the end.

In a group the opinions of others can help form one with their help. Even if they tell me something i'm aren't to sure about. Those people can be great help in giving ideas that can help form an idea for popular culture. The importing thing is that the group helps out and helps formulate my opinion. Even if it isn't mine in the beginning, I can make something myself using whatever they gave me to start.

Dove's "Real Beauty" Backlash Output

Do all men think that women in ads want only women to be unrealistic like a fantasy? I'm sure that many men out there wouldn't care much about that if seen. Women in ads are always trying to meet the standards of male fantasy. Even though it is used as a technique. I don't think many men care.
Usually women in the ads are to convince women to buy the products to improve themselves. It really doesn't matter much that women who may seem a bit plump show on screen and bother men. The target audience isn't for them in the first place so why should it matter to them if the women doesn't meet with their quota. Women in those ads don't have to be unrealistically hot or sexy, just have to send the right message to the viewers what they are selling.

What would kids be to advertisers?

What would people under the age of 18 would be to them? They mention during my reading that most people between the age of 18-24 would be experiencers and do whatever they want to do something. For kids that has o varies between them. Parents seem to be a factor to what they are. Even if they don't have much money, they can still be close to be actulizers.

Kids have the ability to be in the top of the pyramid depending on what the parents so and their income. Usually some know what the want and spend on things they really need. Others though can spend a lot on things uselessly. Since they can't have a lot of something they want they usually buy it a lot of it in a extend period of time making them the strugglers as well.

Sign?

Sign still confuses me on how they explain it. I understand on how it is used to show how the sign of vampires is changed. Still I find it confusing to me when I try to read the text again to try and interpenetrate right. Vampires are used to be shown to be as scary beings that just suck blood and attack people. Then they show on how vampires in Twilight are romantic love interest for the protagonist in films.
The more I look into it I believe it is how we perceive things or understand them. Vampires were viewed to be monsters of the night that attack for human blood. Reason we seen as such cause of the imagination of someone using Vlad the Impaler as a origin. Now vampires are a love interest. Twilight, for an example, is a love romance with sexy vampires and now we see vampires as such.
